STORY

In the year 2054, a nuclear apocalypse forced humanity underground to seek solace from fatal levels of radiation on the surface.

Within a few years, resources below ground were running low. Citizens were selected at random to go to the surface and scavenge for supplies. Radiation poisoning was inevitable for these brave souls, who we called Seekers. Being selected was a death sentence. But those that sacrificed themselves for the greater good were revered as heroes by those of us that remained.

We lived like this for over a decade, until the Seekers unearthed technology we thought had been lost forever. We used it to create RCVs: radio controlled vehicles that we could pilot from our settlements below the surface, gathering resources without risking our lives. As a tribute, we called these pilots Nu Seekers.

Before long, however, resources on the surface began to dry up. Tensions emerged between our underground settlements, and RCVs were weaponized. The Seekers were heroes, but Nu Seekers had become soldiers — in a war that what remained of humanity was fighting against itself.

In a bid to broker peace, a new sport was created. Settlements wager resources in arena combat between RCVs, and the winner takes them all. The stakes are high. But the rewards rank higher still. We named it after the first Seeker. This is KEO.

A VEHICLE FOR EVERY PLAYSTYLE

RCVs are based on three core archetypes. Stryker is built for damage, Juggernaut for defense, and Specialist for utility.

Each type has two hybrid models, making for nine vehicle types in all. Each is designed for a different role in battle, with a fixed central gun, and a further four swappable weapons mounted to the sides, front and rear.

By defeating rivals and winning battles in the arena, you earn currency to spend on new weapons and components. Learning the ins and outs of each RCV, and optimising your loadout around your chosen role, are the keys to victory — and with it, the continued survival of your people.

VEHICLES

VIPER

The first RCV designed specifically for KEO competition, the Viper is a tactical vehicle, specced primarily for damage but backed up with decent utility capabilities too.

STINGER

Originally created as a scout unit, the Stinger was the first Stryker model and blends outrageous damage and speed. Using its onboard machine gun, the Stinger excels at getting quickly into the action, dealing damage, and retreating to safety.

MANTRA Coming Soon

Another RCV designed specifically with KEO in mind, the Mantra has similar offensive capabilities to the Viper, but its secondary focus is on defense. It specialises in interfering with enemy attacks, and dealing up-close damage with its four-barrel rifle.

PANTHER

Defense is the order of the day for the Panther, thanks to heavy armour and weaponry that further augments its damage resistance. It’s so beefy that it can even pull smaller and lighter vehicles along behind it.

THEOX Coming Soon

The archetypal Juggernaut, the Theox is the heaviest and sturdiest vehicle KEO has to offer. While designed primarily to soak up damage, it’s capable of dishing it out too, using its slow, but hard-hitting central cannon.

MARAUDER

A beefy six-wheel RCV, the Marauder is a hybrid of Juggernaut and Specialist, brushing off incoming fire while deploying supportive tools to buff allies and weaken enemies. It can hold its own in a firefight too, with its onboard gatling gun.

BELUGA

Despite its outlandish size, the Beluga primarily plays a supporting role in battle, its moderate defense helping it survive while it works to turn the tide of a fight. Its base weapon is an energy beam that, while only dealing modest damage, drains energy from enemy combatants.

DEVISER

A pure utility RCV, the Deviser prizes armour over mobility, giving it precious survivability as it supports team-mates. While its onboard machine gun deals decent damage, the Deviser is really there to help others, with a variety of ways to protect allies in danger.

PAINKILLER Coming Soon

Built for offensive support, the Painkiller dishes out good damage with its chargeable energy weapon. But its real strength lies in the mines, turrets and shields it deploys to give its allies a precious advantage.
